As an Independent Law Centre, FLAC, takes on a number of cases in the public interest each year. As well as being important to the individual client, these cases have the potential to benefit a wider group of people. Most of these cases arise from FLAC’s dedicated legal services, as well as through referrals from social justice and advocacy organisations. FLAC represents clients at tribunals such as the WRC and Social Welfare Appeals Office and in national and international courts. In recent years, most of FLAC’s cases are in the areas of Housing and Homelessness, Social Welfare, and Equality and Discrimination. Lorem
